In May of 2005, Deanna Mandarino earned a Professional Certificate in Photography from Rockport College, now named Maine Media College, in Rockport, Maine.  As far back as high school Deanna pursued photography and printing in the traditional black and white silver gelatin process. During her intensive program in Maine she used film and printed in the darkroom as well as began shooting and printing digitally, sometimes combining the two.  She now mainly shoots and prints digitally with professional Canon equipment.
